Caretegra Overview

Caretegra was created from the expertise of leaders within Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association (GRIPA) who had successfully shepherded that organization through the planning and implementation of Clinical Integration for its physician membership. Given the complexity of the process, GRIPA leaders felt that a consulting service aimed at physician organizations and hospitals might be a worthwhile business endeavor. We helped with the early planning by testing the business model through market research. Armed with validation for the concept, we helped the organization develop a brand identity, key messaging, and a comprehensive marketing approach.

Brand Identity

First, we named the company. Caretegra had the advantages of including care and the root for both integrity and integral, not to mention integration. Upon careful consideration, we decided that the tagline for GRIPA, health care could look like this, was equally applicable to the C-level target markets that Caretegra would approach. This also provided cohesion between the parent organization and the new entity. The logo was designed to express clean, cool, professional, corporate.
