Energy efficiency is already a low-engagement concept for consumers, and Efficiency Vermont has to compete with a number of similar offerings in the state. Thus, our challenge of connecting Vermonters with both the category and the Efficiency Vermont brand was a daunting one. Our solution, however, was simple: frame the adoption of energy efficiency as a collective expression of Vermont’s core values of sustainability, conscientiousness, and neighborliness. In other words, it’s the right thing to do for both your home and ours.
